The fellowship of the ring
I read
first book “The lord of the rings”, the first part the fellowship of the ring. This can be silly for millions of
people, but for me is a victory! I didn’t like Lord of the rings when I was a
teenager, I don’t know why, but I thought it was boring and slow. I tried reading
this book for one or twice in my adolescence, but I can’t. And now, surprise,
surprise! I loved the book!
So I will speak about my first impressions. The book is very interesting and full of possible analogy. When I read the prologue Tolkien wrote that the book didn’t have no analogy, and was completely unpretentious, because this I told above which is possible find analogy, no it have analogy. I certainly find some analogies how: I think that elves are angels, and the middle Earth is ours planet and the earth beyond of sea is heaven. Things like that while reading made me think this about story.
Maybe
Tolkien didn’t want this in his book, but is completely possible to reader
thinks like that, and for me this idea is amazing. This book has a concept
about racism, and prejudice. And how we can live with different people and
different ways, that is can be possible and nice for us. We can see in this
book that differences are considered normal and that were good to characters.
Frodo
wents to your journey with more three Hobbits,
two men, one magician, one Elf and
one dwarf, there is the biggest diversity here! So Tolkien told us how love
ours brothers in the world and how live with them. I love the book, it brings a
beautiful message of peace and love. I just finish the first book but now I
know why people love it.
